GETTING YOUR FLORIDA MARRIAGE LICENSE

You must have a valid Florida Marriage License before you can be married.

To apply for your Florida Marriage License:

  • Both the bride and groom must visit the office in person, and at the same time.
  • They must each bring 1 form of valid identification, and also give your social security number.
  • The ceremony must be performed within 60 days of the issuance of the license.
  • Florida Residents: The fee is $93.50 and there is a 3-day waiting period before you can be married. If you take a pre-marital course, you receive a discount and there is no waiting period.
  • Non-Florida Residents: The fee is $93.50 and there is no waiting period or course requirement.
